Blood Drive 2023

Our vision in 2020 was to have a local blood drive, where neighbors could donate blood with the convience of having the donation center within five minutes of home.  However, mobile blood drives were on hold the past few years due to the pandemic.  Janet Macher stayed in touch with #BloodworksNW, was finally able to put a date on the calendar.

February 10, 2023 was the first blood drive in Echo Lake Community30 people checked in to donate blood and 7 were first-time-donors.  This exceeded expectations for the community and Bloodworks Northwest.  ELCG THANKS those that participated in the February Blood Drive.  Based on lots of feedback, a second blood drive has now been scheduled in Echo Lake Community.

The Echo Lake Community Group and Echo Falls Golf Club

are teaming up again to bring our

“I just donated my first pint of blood today. What a great experience!  Thank you Janet Macher and team for sponsoring this. You made it so easy for us.  I hope the Echo Falls golf course will allow Bloodworks Northwest to come again.”
